Kate Mason, 27 years old, Hometown- New Haven, CT
Athletic Background...
6-Time All-American in Track and Field (4k Hammer and 20lb Weight Throw)
(Southern CT State University.. home of  Bogue, Bourque, Hamelin,
Zolkiewicz, Howe etc.. )
First started in the highland games 8 years ago, but only competed in goshen, CT once/yr for pre-season training for track.
Took 4 years off from the games (after retiering from track), then returned this year to give it a try, and see if I could achieve marks high enough to train with my old training partners who have now gone PRO. So far soo good. As of today, I'm ranked 5th in the U.S for amatuer women, and 9th overall.
